Refraction (small)

This abstract painting captures the restlessness of light refracted through water, glimpsed in the fluid motion of its surface.  Rays swirl and fold into one another, creating rippling layers that seem to twist and pulse in a mesmerising rhythm.

Bands of colour stretch, bend and reflect, suggesting constant motion beneath the water’s delicate calm.

Light fractures through the moving surface, amplifying a sense of rhythm and energy.  It is suspended for a fleeting instant, poised to disappear at any moment.
